That's right folks... can you believe it??? Cape Coral Homes Under $140,000
Yesterday I met with a real estate investor here in Cape Coral to go and look at single family homes for under $140,000. To my amazement there were actually quite a few on the market. One home was bank owned and was only $139,500... WOW... With the number of foreclosures, short sales, and bank owned properties increasing on a daily basis here in Southwest Florida there truly are some amazing deals to be found.
This particular home was not a short sale either. With the great number of short sales on the market they are some amazing deals, but this particular investor wasn't looking for that type of real estate, so we weren't looking at them.
This home was basically move in condition. It did need a new stove, and a refrigerator, but otherwise maybe a new coat of paint in case you didn't like the present colors of the wall in the home. The home had upgraded tile work in the entry, kitchen, and wet areas, and carpeting in good condition throughout the rest of the home. The home was 1706 sq/ft under air with a large concrete screened in lanai in the rear running the entire length of the home. The home was also on an 1/3 of an acre lot 120x125... and all of this for $139,500... This home wasn't that old either only built in 2002.
There were other homes that we looked at that were even lower priced that the one mentioned above as low as $89,000 for a home that was 1565 total sq/ft.
If you've sitting on the fence wondering when is the time to buy... The time is NOW !!! Prices are the lowest in a number of years. Buyers now is your time to make a move. Granted the above mentioned home may not be exactly what you are looking for but the ceiling for our home search yesterday was $140,000. With going up $10k to $20k the number of homes dramatically increases, and the possibilites are endless for you to own your own home !!!
