The Dangerous WHY thought...

textaid: question mark clipartAs a real estate agent I'm sure that you often asked yourself "WHY" a client said or did something. This specific "WHY" is linked with suspicion.  Often occurs when you suspect when one is not telling the truth.  Maybe it should be "WHAT, what is behind the persons thoughts?"

I've had two "WHY" situations this week.   The type that have the potential to drive one mentally insane.

What to do?  1) ask questions and dig for the reason, 2) let your imagination run wild or 3)wait it out.  Hint, number 2 is incorrect!

My nature is to lean towards number 2, but I've learned to do a balancing act between the other two answers.  The imagination needs to be tamed - to be just the facts!  Remove the emotion!  Are the facts conclusive enough to warrant preventative measures?   If not, then one is wasting thought (and time).  Move on to more productive items.

When the suspicions are unfounded, you won't be asking yourself WHY you got so worked up over this?  And, well, if they are founded, then you will be prepared.\
