Picasso Sells for Record Price

Just got through reading an article on an auction of a Picasso selling for 106,000,000.

And she was naked on the top.

Although the painting and article were intriguing the comments are the most fun to read.

You have to wonder about this comment following the article though-



I went to Madrid once just to see Guernica. That trip was worth every penny. Of course, I should have instead donated my money to help idiots who signed up for adjustable rate mortgages...

Well at least he wasn't blaming Bush or Obama.

I just don't quite understand the high price.  Some of the stuff I have seen I would not even want and that goes for other painters.

I agree but I wouldn't turn a Picasso down (My birthday is in July).
