Another great game tonight we faced Lions Gate/Bethany Academy. We were on the board first with a run in the 2nd and 3rd innings. Lions Gate held a few runners off the board by making some great defensive plays. Then they broke out with a 3 run 4th inning. In the bottom of the 4th we had 2 base hits but both runners were thrown out trying to take an extra base, so we went 3 up and 3 down for the 2nd time this game.
We scored 2 times in the bottom of the 5th with some more timely hitting by Maddie and Kaia. We held them scorelees in the 6th and 7th innings. This was our 3rd conference win this year. New Life is next up on Thursday 4:15 pm in another home game.
I also can't wait to see how the girls pictures turned out as they had some great poses for the photgrapher.
