Are You a Tech Master?

Well, my agents think I am the "Tech Master" in the office.  I am the first person they call when their computers or copier/printer isn't working.  But, most of them are in the over 50 crowd, so I am not sure if that is saying much!  Although, didn't I read somewhere that the national average age of Realtors today is 50+ years?  Hhhhhmmmmmm :)

10 years -- well that lets me out.  I'm definately the one they call to teach social media, fix whatever is broker, set the wireless servers, even help set up cell phones.

The best stories will be from those who don't just know how to use a computer or cell phone, who know how to friend or tweet, but those who apply the technology in creative ways to master the real estate business.

I am not sure if there is such a thing as master. Technology changes every few months. Not sure who can or have the time to keep up. 

It's funny with technology.  I was way ahead of the pack in my neck of the woods for many years when it came to applying the latest technology to grow and maintain my business.  As time goes by, there are so many new venues to be explored that one tends to lose that forward momentum.

I know my office is ahead of the game with technology, we have web class every week AND most of us are in our 50's.  My broker is so innovative and instructional that we are in an ever diligent quest for SEO, website improvement, using technology to advance our business, etc This series will be very interesting to me to see if we are doing the same thing or to learn new stuff.  Will look forward to seeing it.    

I'm looking foward to seeing some of the great videos and learning from the top producers.

I hope that the top producers really can share some tips, I find they are usually quite private about their success and how they got there.

I can't imagine what technology will be like 6 years from now when I hit the 10 year mark in real estate.  We'll probably teleporting to properties by then lol.

There are some top people here on AR that should be in the series but wonder if they will volunteer?  We might have to suggest names. 

I'm with David, I will stand on a circular pad & press an extra button on my lockbox & we will beam to the livingroom of the home.

There are some people on AR who should definitely be on this list.  You're certain to find some masters here.

I hope you find someone who is truly good and not a generalist.  I am looking forward to the day that our trade magazine is truly cutting edge and educational.  It hurts when I read something in the magazine that has been discussed and put into action for months by thousands.

This looks like a difficult assignment.  It seems like you are more likely to find individuals who are good at certain aspects.
