In 1926 Lloyd Harborwas considerd part of Long Island's GOLD Coast where famous musicians and comedians have once lived, such as Billy Joel and Jerry Seinfeld. Another quick fact about Lloyd Harbor is that it is the second largest Incorporated Village in New York.

Hi Carole.  Looks like I've been missing lots of your good posts!  Have I said this before?  Billy Joel's Cold Spring Harbor is one of my very favorite albums.  Could it have been from this area?

Carole - Lloyd Harbor enjoys a rich history as well!  In my own family genealogy, the Stillwell, Lloyd and Heady families sometimes came together in the early 1600s in New York City (at first named New Amsterdam), and settled areas there.  Here's a little history about Lloyd Harbor:,_New_York
