Have You Lost Your Outside Blog's Google Analytics Code?

Google AnalyticsThe issues with Active Rain servers seem to be mostly resolved, though some AR Outside Blogs have missing template photos.

I also realized on May 4th that Google Analytics had disappeared on Outside Real Estate Blogs I monitor, so those of you with AR Outside Blogs using Google Analytics may want to ensure your code is still installed after the recent Active Rain glitches, which I know the AR staff worked very hard to resolve: Thanks!

PS: Your Twitter code may be gone on your (inside) AR Blog.

Brett- you're so far over my head I don't know if I need help or not, no idea where or how to look and see if they are missing.  Geez, so much to learn.  I do have templetes missing and had notice that.

You would have had to create the Google Analytics code through a Google Account, and then you would have had to, or had someone, install the code on your Outside Blog.

Were you able to restore Google Analytics? I can't seem to get it set up and am wondering if it has something to do with the server change.

Yes.

(If you retained the code you should simply be able to place it in the code box...otherwise you'd have to regenarate it ithrough your Google account...)

I keep getting the following error when I cut and paste the code.

"An error has occurred: Snippet is unparsable, did you copy it correctly?" .

Can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

I also get that,

An error has occurred: Snippet is unparsable, did you copy it correctly?

when I try to install Google analytics.  Any ideas?

I didn't get an answer at the Facebook page. I'll try to figure it out again this weekend . If I come up with something I'll post it here. I was thinking it had something to do with the server changes.

Shawn (and Tim), If you're having problems adding the GA code into the AR Outside Blog, I would email support@activerain.com and cc to bob@activerain.com for them to help you with the AR side of things...
