This Brings New Meaning to Having a Solid Rock Foundation!

One of my agents recently wrote an offer on an REO home in Grants Pass Oregon.  The agent and her clients noticed that the house was leaning, so she asked the listing agent about it.  Shortly thereafter, she received this photo of the understructure.  I guess this picture Gives New Meaning to Having a Solid Rock Foundation!

Melinda - I don't imagine that floor will ever collapse around folk's feet.  It may rot away, but never collapse:-)

Interesting picture Melinda. I wonder how a home inspector would write this one up.

LOL. Oh yeah. I'd feel totally safe in that house! NOT! Wow. This is like some of Russel's home inspection photos. I can't believe some of the things people do!

So which side of the house was leaning?  The one with the rock?  Or the one built on sand (with a little cement in it)?

I'm placing a bet on the rock.  I showed a house once that had no foundation.  It was resting on redwood tree stumps.  Posts without piers.  I wish I had taken a photo.
