It happens every year of course. We salute Moms everywhere for all they have sacrificed for the ones they love or loved.
These are my folks pictured below. Dad is now 79, and Mom, has gone before us, to what I'm certain is a great reward. Here they were in the prime of their lives. Pictured with the youngest of their six children in 1963 (I was number 5). Both born in 1931 they espoused the values that shaped most of us here on A.R. Family. Faith. Choice. Kindness. They and their peers gave birth to the Baby Boom generation. They left rural America and lived in suburbs, opting for two incomes. Somewhat unlike their parents, they chose things for the family over money in the bank. In many ways they created the very industry we serve as real estate professionals by becoming homeowners in great numbers.
They wanted us to have more, and they worked tirelessly to insure it came to pass. They were our champions, especially our Moms. So Mom, still miss you, still hear your words in my memory, still love you. Thanks again Mom.
