Yes it is Leesa and I just joined their Board this year to get involved with the community I live in. I will be holding a Poker Run this year and a chance to win a New Harley in Aug. to raise money for Habitat.  I'll keep everyone informed when we get it rolling.

We had a couple of foreclosures recently on Habitat for Humanity homes here. Seems that one has to pay the property taxes on the home, so the recipients had taken out home equity loans to do that, as well as buy a new car, televisions, etc., and then couldn't pay back the loan.

Wow Russel,  I wonder how they got away with that?  They shouldn't be allowed to take a home equity.  Here in NC your taxes are in your mortgage payment.

June:  I bet this ends up being a great community event.  What's not to love about spaghetti and raising money for Habitat for Humanity?
