Record numbers of single women are buying homes. The statistics from the Joint Center for Housing Studies says:

* More than 1 in 5 home buyers are single women
* Twice as many unmarried women are buying homes then single men
* Single women make up more than 1/3 of the growth in real estate ownership since 1994

i love it! I actually ahd a neighbor that was a renter asked me how much I pay in rent... I then told him that I own my house... He was shocked... That was a few years ago... He even actually said, "how did you buy a house" I am sure you can figure out my answer;)
