This is a great time in the south! The local Farmer's Market opened, the local U-Pick opened for strawberries, the local roadside stand opened up and our first local festival, the Pig Pickin' to help a local historical site, was last night. Music, fellowship, talk to catch up on who's doing what, great pulled pork by Bert Willis, and, finally, RC Colas and Moon Pies! It just does not get any better than this!

We have a whole summer of ethnic festivals here...at the lakefront and then the community and church festivals besides...a taste of the traditional food from appetizers to desserts....craffts, customs, music...come on up...the weather will be fine !
Sally and David, thanks! Great stuff! I do visit WI every year in the Fall to hunt Grouse- up near Phillips and Park Falls. I've often mentioned to my wife that we should look at a lake cabin up there for a summer getaway.
