"Everybody is entitled to their opinion, no mater how wrong it may be!"

I have been watching for sometime now what has been going on in this great country of ours and I am appalled to say the least.

If your Christian, white, have money, believe in self reliance, love your countries flag, or generally believe in the things this great country was founded on, you are labeled a trouble maker. What? Yes a trouble maker!

You now have more rights in our society if you believe in a religion that would kill you for disagreeing with it. Laws concerning our sovereignty are routinely disregarded and anyone seeking to enforce them is labeled a racist. Our Government believes it knows how much money you should earn. Our elected officials now dictate to us what will be done with an arrogance that would make a King proud. Votes are routinely bought with programs and benefits stolen from the producers. We had a war because of "Taxation without representation" and yet today it occurs and no one says a word. The population that pays "No Tax" comprise over 50% of the population and controls the representation.

To say we have lost our moral compass would be an understatement. We have banished God from school and public places under the guise of separation of church and state. This was never intended by our founding fathers and is a gross distortion of the constitution.

We have let environmentalists take control of our energy, housing and future with what amounts to fraudulent science and hyped claims that could never be proven.. Because of the environmental lobby in America, we have created a dependence on energy from other countries that gives power to tyrants and evil that is unspeakable. By our reliance on these other countries we have given them the resources to attack us with what amounts to, our own money and resources.

Politicians have used untold billions of dollars to secure blocks of the voting public that have killed economic growth and the future for our children. Funding bridges to nowhere and programs that create "dependency" instead of "Independence" have crippled us to the point that our future is in real jeopardy.

In the very near future you will begin to see "Income Flight" to States like Arizona and others that just say stop the madness. Producers will relocate to places that appreciate their production and don't try to tax it to death. If the federal government attacks these states, we will begin to break apart and become smaller countries in order to retain the vision and standards of those residing in those states. There is no doubt that different parts of our country think far differently from one another, so this may not be as bad as we might first think.

States will begin to look at just how much they get of their federal tax dollars back and start seeing it as an investment. When the return for that state is no longer viable, then changes will be made at a very swift pace.

Terry - not only are you a trouble maker but, according to many, the next terrorist threat to the security of the country. The income flight has already started, some to other states with less draconian tax rules, i.e. New York to Florida after the latest tax increases, and some to other countries, like New Zealand.

Terry--I had to cover the AC guy yesterday while he reinstalled an outside unit. It seems the old one grew legs and ran away. We arrived at 830 and the area was quiet. By noon the neighborhood was downright scary. It seems that no male between the ages of 18-35 had to work Monday morning. Must have been a holiday...

On another note I graduated from SFA. Tyler was our "big city" getaway.

It is so true that the population that pays no taxes controls through equal voting 50% of the representation.  I have always thought that you should not vote unless you were a tax payer, or at least give tax payers an extra vote at election time.  Although we may all be equal in the eyes of god, and the law, we are not all equal in terms of potential value to our fellows.

You're right. it seems the most protected people in America are the law breakers. What does that say about the intentions of the Chicago thug regime?

Oddly, there is no "right to vote" in the Constitution...  Maybe it is time to re-write the rules.

I respect all of your thoughts and opinions! And I will fight for your right to express them. I believe that is a famous American quote that has been long forgotten. :)  You are not alone in your frustration. I have been praying for our nation and praying for a real American leader to step up. Maybe someone like our founding fathers? A George Washington perhaps? A person of integrity.

I heard some one call out for economic justice the another day on the news! If you work hard and earn money from your labor you should be able to keep it and decide where you want it to be spent. Seems fair. I am far from rich and we work hard for every dime we make, but I don't think we should take from the rich to give to the poor. Is it not another form of stealing? Socialism doesn't work. Look at what is happening in Greece.

We should all have an equal opportunity to work hard and reap what we sow. This still is the land of opportunity for those who are willing to make sacrifices and work hard. I have plenty of friends who have done just that and they came from other nations and now they are living a good life!!

What should we do?
