Lahaina Restoration Foundation will host its 2nd annual progressive dinner on May 28th and 29th.
Enjoy fantastic food while dining in historic locations in Lahaina town (and your attendance ensures that the Foundation will be able to continue to keep these landmarks in tiptop shape). The sites to be included this year are:
- Wo Hing Mission-Appetizers served by Chef Sheldon Simeon from Star Noodle
- Hale Aloha-trolley ridge from the Wo Hing Mission to Hale Aloha for the Salad Course
- Baldwin House-Seating for the main course will be throughout this historic home (my mother was the curator here in the 60's living upstairs). Friday night Chef David Paul of his eponymous David Paul's Island Grill will do the honors, and Saturday night guests will be treated to the cuisine of Chef Alex Stanislaw of the Plantation House Restaurant
- Pioneer Inn-desert will be served in the courtyard from 10 of Maui's finest establishments.
Entertainment includes strolling concertina player and actors, a Tongan choir singing at Hale Aloha, and Hula.
This fantastic benefit for the Lahaina Resoration Foundation sold out last year, so be sure to get your tickets early: www.lahainarestoration.org or 808-661-3262. Please note: you must be 21 to attend this event.
