"Californians have an opportunity to share what living here means to them as part of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS "Your Piece of California. Your Peace of Mind." 2010 Consumer Advertising Campaign.

"Californians can go to YourPieceofCalifornia.com and share what they love about living here by using their Facebook or Twitter accounts," said C.A.R. President Steve Goddard. This is a great opportunity to tell your stories about what makes California special to you.

"It's easy to post a comment," he said. "Go to YourPieceofCalifornia.com, click on the "Tell Us About Your Piece of California" arrow, then select "Write your message," and, in 118 characters or less, tell why you love living in California. Then select a region, click "Post," sign in to either your Facebook or Twitter account, and you're on your way. Your comment will post to the site with your Facebook or Twitter photo, and will become part of the mosaic."

Other elements of C.A.R.'s "Your Piece of California. Your Peace of Mind." consumer advertising campaign feature an engaging televisio ad, radio spots, online components, and search engine marketing. The television ad will run on cable shows including "Sell This House," "House Hunters," "My First House," and others. Another key component of the 2010 ad campaign is a new three-minute video that will air on all Virgin America flights in July and August.

Messaging in the campaign directs consumers to YourPieceofCalifornia , and the Spanish-language version, lallavedetutranquilidad.com.  In addition to the social media component available via Facebook or Twitter, the YourPieceofCalifornia site features current real estate news, median home price data, links to connect consumers with REALTORS in their area, and information on the home-buying and -selling processes.

Leading the way... in California real estate for more than 100 years, the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® is one of the largest state trade organizations in the United States, with nearly 150,000 members dedicated to the advancement of professionalism in real estate. Califorina Association of Realtors is headquartered in Los Angeles."
