Help....I have two separate properties, both trailers that have had the wheels removed and are on permanent foundations....also, the ground is owned by the "new buyer".....no ground rent....great, huh....affordable...yes...But, guess what....I can't get financing for either.....One especially as it is a single wide on .33 acres, sitting on the water, only $79,900!....Help, I need financing ideas....

Good luck... 2 years ago I had a dozen folks who would do them. Now I'm in the same boat. I have a wonderful double-wide on permanent foundation on an acre, and only 1 bank in town that will loan on it. Closing costs are couple thousand higher and the interest rate is running a full 1% higher or more! When I can get folks in love with the home, they see how much more it costs them because of the interest and closing costs and are running.
