Public Service? Krispy Kreme

By
Real Estate Agent with KW Fayetteville

I consider this a public service announcement although many will not. It starts with a story. My wife Dilia and I were invited to dinner by buyer clients who are also friends Dilia and I met at Rolands dance studio. A place we frequented pre-children. The hosts Scott and Robin were also entertaining family. Robin's sisters from out of town were in for the weekend. They had big plans to put in a full day of shopping starting the next morning with Krispy Kreme donuts purchased at the gas station down the road. I made the comment that Krispy Kremes are good but they are best hot off the line. Everyone perked up a little and Robin's sister said, "is that right?".

I realized, at that moment, they didn't have clue what I was talking about. So I explained that the Krispy Kreme donut shop is where all the Krispy Kreme donuts for the area are made. The hot light comes on in the morning and in the evening, and while the hot light is on, donuts are available hot and fresh off the line. Everyone seemed interested but not too impressed. Well, Scott and Robin transferred out of state shortly after that visit and I sill don't know if they ever tried a Krispy Kreme fresh and hot.

It did occur to me a little later though, that many many more people are suffering the same ignorance is bliss existence. I'm not kidding folks If you want to try a true North Carolina delicacy you have to taste a Krispy Kreme hot off the line. They are absolutely brilliant. They melt in your mouth. So grab the family. Load up the car and take a field trip to the Krispy Kreme Donut shop on Bragg Blvd. The hot light is on before 11am and after 6 in the evening.
