Hey Christi, welcome to AR...you are from my 'old stomping grounds'....I use to live and work in Laguna, in the mid-60's before it grew!  My husband and I both worked for the phone company, that's where we met, we married and had our first baby while living there...it's changed soooooooo much!  Keep blogging and commenting on other's blogs and you will get to know AR well!

Thanks Mary!  I am going to try to post about things going in Laguna Niguel.  Later today I will have one on the "Taste of Laguna Niguel".  I just need to verify some info first.  Keep checking back!

Hi! Welcome to the site. I recommend that you read, read, read and then comment, comment, comment. There are so many different blogs to read. There are tons of topics out there from real estate, marketing, technology, seo, staging, mortgage, etc. It goes on and on. Find topics you like (in the groups) follow those for a little while, start to find certain writers you like. Comment on their posts. You'll start to get to know people and before you know it... you'll have figured out the benefits of the site. Also reciprocate your comments. Consider posting blogs with content for consumers. Those are included on localism.com. So you could write about your area or about things you know in real estate or related etc. Also check out Resources for the Active Rain Newbie.

Also feel free to join the Active Rain Newbies Group and then edit this post and include it in that group. We love to welcome newbies over there. You'll probably get a few more people to stop by and introduce themselves....

Good luck!
