WOW!! What a year 2010 is shaping up to be and it is only May. I have surpassed the 100,000 point level here on Active Rain, I have gotten my Broker license and sales are great. People ask me all the time how the real estate market is and I have to say it is subjective. What do I mean they ask..... I have Friends in the business who are not having as good of year. I know agents who are waiting tables and working in other jobs to make ends meet. I hear sellers that sound like selling their home will be as painful as a root canal. I am having more fun in real estate than ever before. Why? I refuse to buy into the "Doom and Gloom" on the six o'clock news. I know that everyday there are people who need my help. They have just gotten married, gotten a promotion at work, or maybe they are having a baby and need to upsize their home. These things happen no matter what the economy is at that moment. A real estate transaction like anything in life can be scary and if I can help one person navigate that sea and smile at the end of the journey..... I am successful.That is why I am a REALTOR. That is why I do what I do.
So when people ask me how the real estate market is... I will smile and say "it is Great!". See you at 200,000 points.
