"Ooo La La La"...I am so, so excited about this evening's event going on down in Alhambra. One of my favorite artists, Teena Marie, will be performing at the Alhambra Summer Jubilee. It will take place on 2nd Street between Main and Commonwealth. Admission is FREE!!!! The last time that I saw Teena Marie live was at the old Strand Nightclub in Redondo Beach. I was standing next to Queen Latifah and we were singing along with Teena rapping the lyrics to "Square Biz'. "It Must Be Magic" because "I'm a Sucker For Her..." songs. Her vibrato isn't all that smooth, but her songs are filled with "Fire and Desire". She wants to be your "Lovergirl", but I'll stay "Behind the Groove". The concert begins at 6pm and goes until 10pm.
