I have tried everything when it comes to advertising. Real estate books, phone books, newspaper ads and so on and so on. The last phone book ad I used was 2 years ago. Don't get me wrong. The ad looked fantastic--and my photo was not bad:) But, I truly believe that I was the only one who really appreciated my ad. Did I really think that when someone needed a Realtor they go get their local phone book out and look up "Real Estate Agents"? I guess I was hoping for the best. Even one client off of this ad would have paid for the ad. Sometimes it takes me awhile to "see the light", but I think I've got it now. I know that when I get a new phone book I throw it into the trash immediately and I do my research on google. Are you still holding onto your phone book ad? My question would be "Why?". I am watching every advertising dollar and am holding these dollars accountable! They better produce out Out They Go! Bye-Bye Phone Book.
