Has anyone used Z57 to design and maintain your web site?  I like what I've heard but need some first hand referrals before using them...Please write with good and bad comments!

I have been using z57.  They started out very good and have steadily gone downhill.  I have over 500 clients in my data base on z57 and not one property update has gone out in over three weeks. Their answer is that maybe there have been no new listing matches.  This is in San Antonio, TX where we have several thousand listings on the MLS with several hundred added daily.  And no matches?  Please.

I have been getting lip service only. They have been doing a good job of circling the wagons and defending their system but refuse to kick my phone calls up to a higher level.  There is an internet gatekeeper and my guess is that they have been turned off for sending spam.  No proff of that mind you but the way they don't want to talk about the problem makes me wonder.  I am actively seeking a new source.

Thanks, Bruce.  That is immensely helpful.  If I hear of a new source, I'll let you know.  We have like our Point2 site if you're interested in that -- I always check out new options, though.  I did not solicit Z57, they called me.

Hey Bruce,

I just wanted to let you know that your problem was escalated to me last week with concerns that you were having this issue again.  Typically this is a feed issue, but I've been working with my Director of IT to determine what's broken with your specific account and I believe we've found the culprit.  I will be calling you later today to talk through specifics, however the issue was resolved yesterday and all of your listing alerts went out last night.

Please let me know if this is not the case.

I have a z57 site ... a waste of money.  The only leads I have ever gotten is from Google and Bing at my cost.  Z57 promises and never delivers.  They spend lots of money signing you up and them ... you are on your on.  And those salesmen selling z57?  A bunch of liars!

Just got burned by Z57 - they are a total rip off company.  Made promises to get my money and now when they cannot deliver refuse to refund.  Stay far away from them!

I have over 20 real estate websites total.  All in all Z57 is decent.  I have been happy with them in general (other than some recent disputes) over the last four years and have TWO Z-57 sites, www.firstcoastre.com and www.Short-sale-specialists.com.  The things I personally like best are the backend stuff like the drip campaigns, newsletters, craigslist templates, stats ect and their customer service is pretty good.  They excel at that compared to others.  Their designs are however basic and generic as said above, and they are somewhat limited.  As with ANY site, if you want results you MUST put your own time into it or have somebody on staff to help.  I have taken my local site to over 600 pages.

Meg, they called me and it looks good. Did you ever sign up? if so, would you recommend it and what would you do differently?

I never signed up due to the negative information I received above; they were very persistent -- in fact, so persistent that I became very turned off.

Thanks for the followup. Not only are they pushy, but reading off scripts is just annoying!

After an hour plus of hard selling & negotiating - I had a beauty of a website - too bad there is a complete lack of substance to their product - don't recommend Z57 at all.

I would NEVER recommend Z57. I used them for about 8 years and finally had enough of them earlier this year. When I first signed up with them, they were awesome. But for the past 4 years (atleast) I have nothing nice to say about them. I stuck it out wayyyyy too long because I didn't want to deal with switching and the headache that caused, but honestly I should have made the move when I first had issues with them. Their customer service is horrible, they take forever to respond to you, and each time they "new and improve" their service it gets worse than it was. Do yourself a favor and DON'T go with them!
