Have you ever observed the patented “Force Method” in use?
Recently I’ve been on a long trip with way too many flights to count and I’ve had the opportunity to observe the patented “Force Method” in use time and time again.
Here are some examples to brighten your Hump Day Wednesday;
- Sitting on an airplane watching someone try and fit an oversized bag into the overhead compartment…Force Method;
- At the recycling station when the dumpsters are full…Force Method;
- Getting onto a crowded bus, train or tram…Force Method;
- Merging onto a crowded freeway…Force Method;
Next time you feel the urge to ram something into place, step back and take a look at yourself. Laugh. Give some thought to what you’re trying to achieve and why you cannot achieve it. Then, relax and try a different approach.
Cheers

Too funny. I travel a lot, and the "Force Method" is very prevalent with travelers. Always in a hurry and unable to look at potential solutions, so they just force whatever it is they are doing.

Love your post. It brought a big smile to my face. I think I'll be viewing my world looking for "The Force Method" around me for the next few days, at least!

Great post. I'll bet there's a lot of "Forceing" going on the next few days. A great reminder for us all to step back and take a deep breath.
