This weekend, the Santa Rosa Arts & Culture Foundation will be holding their 22nd Annual Riverwalk Arts Festival in Historic Downtown Milton, situated along the banks of the scenic Blackwater River. The festival is a two day event, May 22nd-23rd, beginning each day at 10am and ending at 5pm.
This exciting event is made for the entire family, featuring over 80 artists in a myriad of styles, from jewelry to folk art. In addition to the fine arts on display, there will be great music, delicious food, 20 cultural performances, and plenty of children's activities. There will also be tours available of our beautiful white sandy beaches and even a way to arrive at the event by boat! This is a great chance to spend time with the whole family and learn about the surrounding community and its many diverse cultures.
The festival committee is anticipating 10,000-15,000+ to come out and enjoy the fine arts and will be accommodating 150-200 booths with two stages for performances. Also on display will be the "All County Youth Art Exhibition" which is coordinated with art programs for school age children (students K-12) with ribbons and cash prizes.
Entry into the festival is absolutely FREE (my favorite word) and so there's no excuse to not join your fellow Northwest Floridians for this great time of culture and entertainment!
