An unexpected visit from the horses - Red Lodge, MT

When you have goals in life, you are very likely to succeed.  If you have goals (as many as the number of heads seen in the photo above) you are very likely to win.

An unexpected visit from the horses - Red Lodge, MT

You are bound to turn heads when you dictate the pace of the game and are faster (with lots of horse power in your engine) than your competition.

Seven Horses on a Beautiful Day in Red Lodge

Even if you find yourself starting from the bottom or in a difficult position right off the starting gate...

Seven Horses High Up the Mountain - Red Lodge, Montana

..., if you have strength (as strong as a horse) and just believe in yourself (don't mind what the experts or others say) ...

Seven Horses Up High and Standing Tall - Red Lodge, Montana

 .. you can achieve anything!

Go Habs Go!

I still believe in the power of 7.

The Montreal Canadiens are now only 7 wins away from a Stanley Cup.

Al and Peggy,

Thank you.   I am glad to be able to share my excitement via some nature photos.  I know the way I chose to share my excitement and high horse power energy may seem a little odd to some people.  I am glad you two understand what I am experiencing and also spread the cheers.   Go Habs Go!

Hi Gerry - It seems that you can easily find a group of horses roaming together.  It's much harder to find a moose!!! :)

GO HABS GO!!!

Have a very Happy Victoria Day long weekend (Canadian style, eh?).  I did a bit of research to see how you celebrate Victoria Day in Quebec and found that it is a federal statutory holiday.  At the provincial level, you would have celebrated Fête de Dollard from the 1960's until 2002.  In 2003, well after you left la Belle Province, the Quebec provincial holiday name was changed by the National Assembly of Québec to National Patriots' Day.

Vegas Bob,

I hope you are over the jet lag from your most recent trip to Myanmar and Thailand.   This is Gerry (not Gary).

The horses looked to be in great shape!   I was surprised to see so many of them and unexpectedly around my house one morning.   But, I sure did admire their beauty.  :)

Debi,

Thanks.  I found these seven horses on my pasture one morning!

They must have made it thought the wired fence that is falling apart on one end of my property.   I had no idea where they came from (still don't know to this date).  I had to open a cow gate (on the other end of my property) for them to eventually leave.  They did enjoy munching on the tall grass on my property and beside the photos I took of them, they left me a few souvenirs behind (on the ground) so I can remember their visit.

I don't have horses and I will admit that I enjoyed this unexpected visit.  Hopefully, some day, I will have a couple of horses to call my own.  The last two photos do give the impression that they could be horses out in the wild.   :)

Marc,

If the Canadiens make it all the way to the Stanley Cup Final (and especially if my prediction of seven games comes true for the current series), I will come up with a collage of photos on which I will display 7 moose.   What do you think of that? Eh?

Thank you for the bit of research you did for us to clarify the long weekend holiday in Canada and Happy Victoria Day long weekend to you!   I remember being in Quebec in 2007 for the National Patriots' Day.  That National Assembly always likes to think differently or should I find ways to make a distinct point, eh?

Nick,

Thank you for stopping by to comment.  I hope that all my Canadian friends had a happy Victroria Day (Canada except Quebec) and a happy Journee des Patriotes (Quebec).

My wishes to have a final between two fo the original six teams came only half true.  But, I will be watching the final series and I wish the best of luck to your Chicago Blackhawks.

My Houston Aeros haven't had a winning season in many a year. Wait! They haven't even been a team in many a year. LOL

Russel,

Aero sounds like something you would eat.  Did you mean Astros?  Perhaps they are full of air too if they haven't had a winning season in many years.
