You're reading this post to find out who Waynette Hoover Araj is. Sometimes, I'm not sure I know myself, but I'll muddle through as best I can.
First of all, I'm a wife and a mother. I am a firm believer that if my relationships with my family are not as they should be, it is much more difficult for me to be effective in my professional relationships. I love to cook. If I could spend all day in the kitchen being creative, I think I would. That is, as long as I had someone to clean up after me. I love to read, and I couldn't imagine life without music. Most any kind of music will do, just play it LOUD. Preferably while I'm cooking!
I was born and raised in Randolph County. Asheboro, to be exact. I have lived here most of my life. I was gone long enough in my early 20's to realize that the rest of the United States is wonderful, but the Piedmont Area is next to Heaven.
I went through the Real Estate education and licensing program at the Dan Mohr School of Real Estate in Greensboro in 2004. After getting my Salesperson's license, I immediately went on the obtain my Broker's license through Bill Gallagher.
I have earned what the real estate profession calls 'designations'. Designations tell a consumer that a Realtor has earned a title in a specific area by taking extra classes in order to specialize in certain areas. My designations are CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) and SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource).
Since January of 2005, I have worked with the absolute best in the business at RE/MAX Central Realty. I have been fortunate enough to work on a team with Vickie Gallimore and HR Gallimore, who have been top producers in the area as well as in the state for many years.
I've learned from the leaders in the real estate industry how to get homes sold, and to do it in such a way that clients insist that their friends and family team up with me and RE/MAX for buying or selling real estate.
I continuously try to stay educated on the real estate market, new trends in advertising, lending processes, what's going on with the neighborhoods in my ares, builders, and everything in between.
I have to stay current on what's happening in my community so that I can accurately inform folks moving into the Asheboro/Randolph County area.
I am passionate about doing whatever I do well, and I'm passionate about my clients.
This post is the beginning of what I hope will be many. I'll be blogging about Real Estate, Asheboro, Randolph County, local restaurants, neighborhoods where people want to live, local events, etc. I'll be talking about what I think the residents of Asheboro want to hear, and what outsiders need to know.
