Cancer survivors will be honored by Plainfielders in the Third Annual Relay for Life Overnight Event. The function starts this evening at 6:00 PM from the Hub Stine Field at and will end at 7:00 AM on Sunday, May 23, 2010. There are 42 teams organized to walk through the night in an effort to raise funds to find a cure. A luminaria Ceremony will be held at 9:00 PM. I am doing relay this year. I am a survivor and about 8 years ago I did my first relay and it was the hardest thing I ever did. I lost my grandmother to cancer and them I was told I have cancer. the walk was so hard persoanly for me and I did meet lots of GREAT PEOPLE!
