St. Marys Ontario is getting a Unleashed Dog Park, just in time for summer! St. Marys Ontario pet owners can get ready for letting their fido's play together off leash, in a new unleashed dog park that has been announced.
The new dog park will be located just east of Junction Station on Glass St. This location is not in any residential area in St. Marys Ontario.
An open house will be held on the proposed site, east of Junction Station on Glass Street, on Saturday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to noon to hear from those living in the area. This meeting is being held as a courtesy since there is not a change required for zoning.
The proposed site will be 40 x 100 metres. The fencing will begin after the open house meeting, council must also approve the park based on the feedback from the meeting.
It could open as early as mid-to late-June. Dog owners should be very excited, from my experience this will be a great meeting place for owners and dogs alike.
