This last Sunday, while I was enjoying our time at the Reinstorm 2010 horse event in Grass Valley I ran into my good friend Jane Switzer who is now working with Rick Lamb of RFD TV and she shared with me an upcoming local horse event that sounded so great that I quickly agreed to become a sponsor.
The name of this new event, show, clinic and evening of entertainment is called the:
1st Annual Cowgirls Promise To Care
When: June 9, 2010 from 5pm to 9pm
Where: The Shiloh Foundation, 7975 Wise Road, Auburn, CA 95603 (Main Phone 530-823-9517)
It is a special benefit working to raise awareness and funds for the Shiloh Foundation and their special horse rescue and outreach here in the Northern Sierra Foothills.
The Shiloh Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and relocation of horses into loving owner's homes.
This 1st annual event has a full evenings line up including; Rick Lamb, of RFD TV's The Horse Show, as the keynote speaker, Ezra Marrow a well known local natural horsemanship trainer, music by the Brazen Hussies and the Bad Boyz out of Auburn, CA and with wines being poured onsite by the good folks at the award winning Pescatore Winery. There will also be additional food vendors and raffle opportunities there as well.
Tickets are available online for $10 pp or $25 for a family of 4 directly at A Cowgirls Promise website or you can pick up your tickets in person at Echo Valley Ranch & Feed at 205 Nevada Street in Auburn, CA 95603.
