Hot Weather, Hot Sales, Hot Areas=AUSTIN

Austin has dried out a little from all the rain we've had in the last few weeks.  The weather has become Hot and humid.  People are heading to Lake Travis to cool down.  Homes that were once a long walk fromm the shore are now water front.  It unfortunate that some people built during the last few years when we had little rain.  Many built in flood zones and thought little about it.  Their homes were under several feet of water when the lake level crested at 702 ft msl in early July.  I don't feel sorry for these people because they should have noted the flood zone as a possible problem for building. That aside land around the lake has become very hot.  Lots are limited in size and number and prices continue to increase.  I have seen prices double in some areas over the past 3 years.  This is incredible and shows the strength of the Austin market.  We are seeing rapid growth all over Austin.  Downtown condos are popping up so fast it's hard to keep track of them all.
