Blackberry Storm Update Warning!!!!

I just now went to blackberry.com to update my phones software to the new 5.0 version. Sure, it works a bit smoother... However, IT DELETED ALL OF MY CONTACT NUMBERS!!! I cant imagine that it was designed to work like that and I'll probably have to wait in line tomorrow morning at the Verizon store for their tech wizzard to reverse engineer my phone. Thank you Thank you Verizon! Hopefully this blog reaches a few Verizon customers before they have to deal with this headache...

Ouch. I'm glad I have all of my contacts backed up with Google and set to sync if needed, but I have a Droid.

WOW! I'd be fuming. I just switched from Blackberry a couple of months ago to the Iphone since my carrier did not have it. I was going to go with the Droid, but when I asked for feedback, it wasn't as good as the Iphone on the overall operation.

I set it up to back it up on my computer... still have to take my computer into a Verizon store to "maybe" get this resolved. Otherwise, a goldmine of contacts just went Poof...
