Red Barn in Red Lodge
This red barn is located about 5 miles North of town. There is a certain feeling, something about seeing a red barn out in nature that can not be put to words. Happy Wednesday from Red Lodge, Montana!

Gerry - I'd say that's a mighty perfect red barn sitting in a spectacular landscape too!
A good place for a recovering HAB fan to go for a day or two to recover. Great run and outstanding photo.
Gerry - The red barn is very well maintained outside. I have wonderful memories driving around rural Québec and seeing many houses with red roofs.

I am glad the photo brought back wonderful memories to you. Interesting how their could be some resemblances between Red Lodge and Québec and things that reminds someone of Québec even many miles (or kilometers) away. You must have had one of those "je me souviens" moments! :)

It sure is green now but at these higher elevations then most of the country, we can still get some white in the air (late at night or early in the morning) which melts immediately when it touches the ground. Very interesting scenery and mix of white and green which I will make sure to capture on a photo should it happen again. At the end, whether it started as rain or that white thing, it all helps to make the landscape in Red Lodge greener and greener means less worries of that red thing called fire during those drier and hot summer days. I know there's a moose running around somewhere in that picture. Where is he? Where'd you hide him? Is he inside the barn?

Since you asked, there is a good likelihood that there is a red moose hanging on the wall in the red barn that is located in Red Lodge but then again...
