In remembering our heroes, we honor the great sacrifices made for the dreams of every American. May we never forget their strength, courage, and profound willingness to stand up and defend our way of life. I hope this important holiday finds you and your family well and inspires you to reach for your dreams.

Every Memorial Day, I can't help but think of all the people that have fought so valiantly to make our country what it is today...I think back to September 11, 2001 when everyone felt as though we had been kicked in the stomach and just felt sick and didn't know which way to turn...
I attended a wedding last weekend where the bride married a serviceman (fully dressed in uniform for the wedding) that had been medically discharged from the Iraq war due to a brain injury and PTSD...it was truly sad to watch and yet proud at the very same time.
Every Memorial Day, I thank my lucky stars that I am an American!!!
Thanks for the reminder Waynette!
My Dad was a veteran with the U.S. NAVY. May he rest in peace. God Bless America.
