Victory Lakes in Bristow, VA Offers a Variety of Homes and Amenities

Victory Lakes is a Bristow, VA community straddling Sudley Manor Drive east of Linton Hall Roads.  The community was built in 2002 and is still selling new construction as of Spring 2010.  It's a blend of single family homes and townhouses.  Builders in Victory Lakes included Beazer, Winchester Homes, Craftmark Homes, and Miller & Smith.  Within Victory Lakes you'll find a variety of single family homes and townhouses, with each type of home in many styles and sizes.  There is something for every price range in Victory Lakes.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of Victory Lakes are the amenities.  The Victory Lakes Clubhouse, styled to look like a lighthouse, is a beacon for the neighborhood to come enjoy the activities.  There is a outdoor pool, tennis courts, tot lots, basketball court and the only inline hockey court in the area.   Of course, the clubhouse itself is a party facility that can rented year round, or used as a gathering area for community clubs like the monthly poker night.

Outside the grounds of the Victory Lakes Clubhouse there are walking/biking trails that wind their way through the community and take you past the three fully stocked lakes.  You can see Victory Lakes residents fishing in the lakes in Spring, Summer and Fall.

Victory Lakes may be the Bristow, VA community for you.  If you've been looking for a wide variety of homes and amenities all in one location, look no further.

Duane:  Today I tried life without coffee. I've been having horrible stomach aches for the last week and thought I might back off until my digestive issue is resolved.

Chris:  I owe it all to the Kodak Easy Share.  I love that camera.  Kodak should've gotten to the "So easy a caveman can do it," slogan before Geico.  It really is point and shoot.

Chris Ann:  Hey woman.  I have wanted to move back for over ten years, now.  You surely do not have to talk me into it.  But... I live in an apartment... no more houses for me... and the rent is SOOO much more reasonable for a really nice gated apartment community... here in Fort Worth... garden spot of The People's Republic of Texas.

Karen Anne:  I completely understand.  If I wasn't so deeply routed in Virginia and could move my job anywhere, I would certainly look into a more reasonably priced area myself.

Chris Ann:  So... how far out 66... do I have to go to get a decent apartment... gated... and perfect for this older chick ?  Either that... or how far out 70 from Ellicott City, or how far up 15 from 66 ?  Where would you suggest I consider ?  And gee... do you work rentals ?  LOL.

Karen Anne:  I sure do work rentals.  Probably out to Haymarket to live in Regency.  That's where I'm seeing you.  There or in Heritage Hunt.  You could find a nice condo to rent in a gated community.  Maybe $1400-$1800/month.

Cameron:  Thanks for the compliment.  I tried my hardest to make it timeless.  I didn't want to put in high or low sales prices.  We know how those change.

Chris Ann!  FANTASTIC Localism post on Victory Lakes in Birsow VA - and your photos are gorgeous!  What type of camera are you using?  Mine seem very ho-hum compared to yours!

Congrats on the feature too!

Congratulations on your feature, Chris Ann. Hey, I used to use a Kodak Easy Share. But I will say that I've noticed a marked improvement in my photos since I changed over to a Nikon Digital. Well, that and Photoshop, LOL. Almost every photo I take looks better after tweaking the "shadow and highlights" by 25%.  But you have captured amazing detail of Victory Lakes with your Kodak.
