The summer season is rapidly approaching and with that comes the fun and games that Lakewood has come to be known for. Ranked #1 by Sports Illustrated Magazine as "Sports Town USA" it's no wonder the parks are gathering places for families year after year. The variety of activities that you can dive into are really varied. Take a plunge at the Mayfair and McCormick pools. Whether you're interested in laps, lessons or water aerobics you'll find a time slot suited for you. You can register online using the ecatalog at lakewoodcity.org/recreation.

Mayfair High School Gym will be hosting several events:park, day camp, summer activities

Monday 6:30 - 9:00 Indoor Soccer

Tuesday 6:30- 9:00 Volleyball Free Play - matches for all skill levels

Thursday 6:30 - 9:00 Teen Night - Volleyball or Dodgeball

Camps are big and you can choose from a traditional day camp or a special themed topic camp. The list includes skate boarding, cheer, volleyball, dance, sports camp, basketball camp and tennis camp.

Dinner and a show? Try the Fun-Tastic Family nights with your family at The Centre at Sycamore Plaza. There are several shows planned throughout the summer and at $7 for adults and $5 for kids it's a tall order to find a better value.
