A Little Blue Fish is My Inspiration

Services for Real Estate Pros with Second Self Virtual Assistance

It's funny to think that you can find inspiration from a cartoon character.  But, lately, circumstances have forced me to look in some weird places to keep a positive attitude.  And, I happened to land upon Dory, the little blue fish from "Finding Nemo".  Since Dory's only got a VERY short term memory, she's always happy to meet new people (even if she's known them for a while), she manages to make friends with those who should be her enemies ("What's a little bite like you doing 'round here") and is always in an upbeat mood ("Swimming, swimming...just keep swimming").  Not a bad way to live, if you think about it.  So, no matter what life throws at me, I'm just going to keep swimming with a song in my heart and a smile on my face.

I've always loved Dory as a character - you're absolutely right that a bright outlook and upbeat attitude will take you anywhere! Even across the oceans. :-)

Heather.....I think you have the perfect formula - keep a song in your heart and a smile on your face.   When you do that, even the difficult things seem to have less impact on you.

We've all had one of those days - or weeks - or months - or years.  Thanks for the reminder that we can still make it through the tough times if we just keep swimming, just keep swimming.
