“GROWING INTO WELLNESS AT THE HERITAGE” TODAY
   You are invited to a day dedicated to Healthy Living and successful aging at The Heritage at Lowman’s Welcome Center.
   Find out how you can live longer, live better and BeWell.  There will be mini Educational sessions on nutrition, diabetes, gardening and more.  There will be Tai Chi and Yoga demonstrations, healthy food tastings, a Pharmacist Q & A, and eye screenings.
Time is 11 am until 3 pm.   

MEMORIAL DAY 2010   The Chapin American Legion Post 193 Inc will present a Memorial Day program at the Chapin Veterans Monument at the Chapin Library on Monday, May 31, at 10 am.  Navy Captain James L. McGinley will be the guest speaker, Capt. McGinley is in charge of the Navy training at Fort Jackson.  A second meeting will be held at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church at 11 am, with guest speaker Master Chief (HMCM) Keith Wright.  A light lunch will be served. The Public is invited. ArtCan STUDIO & GALLERY’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY
You're invited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Judy Bolton Jarrett's ArtCan Studio & Gallery on TUESDAY, JUNE 1, 5 until 9 PM!  The gallery is located at 108 Beaufort Street in the yellow building with the green awnings; it is the historic first Chapin Bank building, built in 1908.  Judy opened her gallery on June 1, 1990, at 104 Beaufort Street and moved to this location in January 1992.  There will be many specials for this event, and Judy hopes that other Chamber members will drop by.  If you can't be there on June 1st, there will be another opportunity on SUNDAY, JUNE 6, from 2-5 o'clock.  Call 345-6588 for additional information.
