If you're having a bad day or if you just want a smile, take a hint from Heather and just keep swimming.

It's funny to think that you can find inspiration from a cartoon character.  But, lately, circumstances have forced me to look in some weird places to keep a positive attitude.  And, I happened to land upon Dory, the little blue fish from "Finding Nemo".  Since Dory's only got a VERY short term memory, she's always happy to meet new people (even if she's known them for a while), she manages to make friends with those who should be her enemies ("What's a little bite like you doing 'round here") and is always in an upbeat mood ("Swimming, swimming...just keep swimming").  Not a bad way to live, if you think about it.  So, no matter what life throws at me, I'm just going to keep swimming with a song in my heart and a smile on my face.

Pamela...love it; also Dory is pretty cute too. Is that your dog or does he/ she belong to Heather?  Question, can he/she type?  Cute face.
Keep up the laughter level & your spirits will match your brilliant smile. have a good Memorial Day Holiday.

Hi Barb and Sal - Dory was my favorite character in the movie.  The dog is Heather's and is quite a love bug.  Thank you for your kind words.  Enjoy your holiday weekend!

Pamela - I just had to laugh as I read through Heather's post. Nemo is one of my family's favorite movies. The year it was released, I was at a very stressful job that involved lots and lots of hours of hair-pulling and headaches. Often, I would think of Dory and just kept telling myself: Just keep swimming...just keep swimming.... Boy, am I ever grateful those days are past.

Hi Irene - That's funny.  I used to say that to myself when I was exercising!  BTW - I'm glad those days are over for you, too.
