It is SO frustrating........

that when things are tough in the real estate business so many Realtors® have a problem following the Code of Ethics. There is so many things going on right now, especilly in REO and Short Sale transactions, that are unethical. No wonder the public doesn't trust the Real Estate Industry and agents more specifically.

I am probably preaching to the choir here as Active Rain members are taking extra time to contribue to the community. But as an Active Rain member if you find an agent that is violating the Code and committing unethical acts please do everything you can to shut them down. We don't have room for that kind of person in our struggling industry.

Thanks for reading my rant!

Jim,

You are so right. There are a few bad seeds that heard that make our industry look bad. But then there are many more like you and I doing a great job for our clients. I heard that the Department of Justice has prosecuted some bad ones. We are to look out ofr our client's best interest.

It is easy to be ehtical when there is no challenge. The hard part is to stay ethical when faced with temtation not to be. It is not easy out there, but things will not get better if we do not keep the playing field
