Memorial Day - Means More Than Kicking Off the Summer

 

 

It's Memorial Day weekend and this weekend officially kicks off the summer season for most of us.  It means a 3 day weekend for many of us.  Time to get out of the daily hustle and bustle and head for the shore, camping, the lake, or even just relax in your own back yard with a cook out.

 

During this weekend of entertainment and enjoyment, remember our heroes: the Veterans and service men and women.  They have fought, and many have sacrificed their lives, for what we have today, and continue to work hard so we have our freedom. 

 

Take some time out this weekend and pray for our country's service men and women, that they may come home safely to their own families and enjoy the freedom that they have fought for.  If you know of anyone that has served in the armed forces, or even if you see a serviceman or woman in uniform that you don't know, say thank you to them for doing a great job.  It will make their day and feel thier job is worth the sacrifice they are making.

 

Remember: Freedom does not come for FREE.  Lives are sacrificed for freedom.
