Love the focal points highlighted in the first picture Diane! The fireplace and the outside view can easily be enjoyed how you set it up. 

What do all the cabinets in the 2nd photo hold? that's an unusual space and you did a great job with it!

Diane, it's pouring with rain up here, too today.  The bright colours sure do help to combat those dull, grey, west coast skies out there.  Great job.

I've been working in the rain in California too wondering when it is going to end. Love the clock on the fireplace!! Cheer's to sunny days soon! 

Diana ~ love the sunny, open feeling of the family room ... and what's with all this rain we're getting here in the NW?  Enough is enough already! 

Diana - Those rooms are beautiful enough to work anywhere, even here in sunny Florida, but they are real standouts in the grey NW!

Love the yellow sofas, it really did brighten up the home. I especially like that you used a pop of red in the standing lamps. Looks great thanks for sharing.

Yellow is such a happy color! It does make a difference, especially here is gray and rainy Washington!!

Nice pictures....that would be tough working wth the outside elements up there in the NW.  I love the pops of color you chose....they work well with the outside green as well.  I love this time of year when you can see beautiful foliage outside the windows, so inviting!
