WCR METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS CHAPTER RECEIVES RECOGNITION

2009 GOLD AWARD FOR CHAPTER EXCELLENCE

Our local chapter has much to celebrate. At the recent Women's Council of REALTORS® Mid-Year Meeting in Washington DC, held in conjunction with the National Association of REALTORS® Mid-Year Meeting, our chapter was honored for 2009 Chapter Excellence by receiving the highest award, Gold Award for Chapter Excellence. Our chapter is proud to receive this award and credits this success to Past President Jean Ewell and her leadership team for their outstanding leadership in 2009. The 2009 Leadership Team energized our chapter with its highly successful educational programming and networking events, such as:

*  2009 "You Got Questions... We Got Answers" Series

*  2009 Leadership Series

*  Joint HBA/WCR Business Resource Meeting

*  Joint St. Louis/St. Charles Business Resource Meeting with 2009 National WCR President Becky Hill

*  2009 WCR St. Louis Expo & Fashion Show

In 2009, we were also proud to expand our educational programming with attendance of more than 1000 St. Louis real estate professionals. This award coupled with the increased attendance at our educational programs is a tribute to the 2009 Leadership Team's focus on member value.

2010 MEMBER RETENTION AWARD

Our Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter also received the Women's Council of REALTORS® 2010 Member Retention Award in the Mega Chapter Categoryr. The 2010 Member Retention Award is awarded by the National Women's Council of REALTORS® to the local WCR Chapters with the highest membership retention rate. Our chapter had a renewal rate of 81% of our previous year's membership. The national average is 65%. Our chapter was one of only 3 chapters to be recognized in the Mega Chapter category. The 2009 Leadership Team energized the chapter with its educational programming and networking events, and these efforts carried over to our successful membership drive.

2010 WELLS FARGO "INSPIRE EDUCATE ENABLE" AWARD

Our Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter was also awarded the Wells Fargo "Inspire Educate Enable" Award. This annual award is given by the National Women's Council of REALTORS® to local chapters that deliver superior educational programs and innovative leadership training to its members. The award sponsored by Wells Fargo also included a $1,500 prize for educational programming for 2010. Again, this success is attributable to our 2009 Leadership Team as well as the 2010 Leadership Team and their dedication in developing outstanding educational programs, leadership training and networking opportunties.
