A Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Airman is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life.
I would like to pay my respects to all who have served our country. My father was a career soldier in the United States Army and served in the Korean War and has since passed away. My father-in-law, John (Jack) Lantry is now 90 years old and served in the Marine First Division in the South Pacific during WW II.
"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died, rather we should thank God that such men lived." General George S. Patton Jr.
