Beautiful Residents of Some Prime Ocala Real Estate.

By

Here are a few photos of the very reason I moved back to Florida.... to be able to live in the Horse Capital, Ocala! Pastures full of weanlings and yearlings are my cup of tea, and horse sales at Ocala Breeders Sales instead of tire sales and fire sales.

The Belmont, the third leg of the Triple Crown Races, runs this Saturday. It is hard not to envision one of these foals or yearlings crossing the finish line ahead of the pack in a few short years.

Check this new page of mine out if you have time: Ocalalicious tweets

And if you are a horseracing fan, here's the latest on the Belmont Stakes.

Gorgeous horses. Had one as a kid, an aunt that had 30 of them and ran a summer camp for rich kids that learned how to shovel...(clearing throat) er horse manure, work around the farm which did not hurt them one bit.

Hi Susie- the rolling hills of Ocala- the Real Florida:) I remember back in the '70's when I was going to school at UofF my favorite part of the ride from New Smyrna Beach was when I started seeing the horse farms with the manicured pastures and the beautiful horses.

I enjoyed looking for the magnificent stables to see which one was fancier than the next.

It is pretty darn nice to live in paradise- glad you made it back home:)

Hey Hey.....one of those pictures borders on porn!

I've only got one horse picture for you so far.....most of them are the majestic mountains I'm surrounded by. In fact, we are off this afternoon to a part of the country I've not been to in years.....hope for some great photos as well!

Stay tuned!

Gorgeous photos and you are definitely back in your element - but I really think it was those cowboys that drew you down south.

Hi Susie, Congratulations on your move. Missed the tweets I guess. Wonderful photos and a bit frisky to boot.  I also loved Andrew Moores photo. I busted out laughing! The horse photos are really quite beautiful.  Here is one for you that I took last week. Striped horses grazing with the cows! hehehe. Who'd a thunk it?

Neat pics. I guess that you are in horse heaven. I guess I do need to clean out my mail box or get spanked. OOH! Somebody mention spanking...

Susie - you must be thrilled to be back in horse country. Reminds me of Louisville, KY, except for the vegetation.
