Today and almost every week we see a new article in the New York times or other media written by folks like the CFA (Consumer Federation of America) about how Realtors are a cartel that over charges the public and are not competitive in todays marketplace. Everytime one of these articles comes out or if you get a chance to go back and read one (Real_Estate_Cartel_Study). Notice that everything you read is written to appear as factual but is actually only the opinion of the author. You will find facts in the article that try to validate but the authors statements are always pure opinion.

I believe that an in depth investigation of almost every one of these articles will show banking industry backing. If you think this isn't true simply look at the funding record of Congressman Michael Oxley to better understand his attacks on the Real Estate industry.
