Gerry, absolutely beautiful and creative photos - what type of camera do you use? Thanks for sharing these scenes of springtime in Montana with us! Susan
Susan,
You are welcome. These photos were taken with the Kodak EasyShare Z981 camera with a 26X optical zoom.
Hi Gerry... what beautiful pictures! Being a Texan I am especially partial to the bluebonnets!
Hello Gerry and you are really going for the gold and some very beautiful pics, the top one with the tulips and the wolf in the cage is very unusual and you my friend have found yourself a feature at one of my favorite groups .....

Gorgeous shots Gerry! I had waited for the moose to show up, and sure as shootin' there he is in the last photo!
Steve,
Thanks. I am glad that a Texan visited this post and got to admire the bluebonnets. :)
Vegas Bob,
I have acquired a taste for taking unusual photos such as photos that combine two subjects you would not expect to see together in a photo. It is a coyote that is featured with the tulips in the first photo. Her name is Bonnie and she has a brother by the name of Clyde but since he tends to be mean to her, he is next door but in a separate enclosure. I appreciate the feature and I am glad that you visitrd this post. Why not shoot for the gold? :)
Myrl,
Thanks. It is moosely a matter of wishful thinking. Your wish came true. :)
Hi Gerry!
Wow...I don't know what I enjoyed more - the gorgeous flowers or the fun birds and animals. Any way you look at it, those are wonderful photos! Thanks for sharing!
Paula,
You are welcome. The BNC is full of interesting birds and animals and these days, gorgeous flowers. I am glad I got to share some of the pleasant sights of the BNC with the online community.
Marc,
What! No comment about the moose? :)
I does look like Niles is about to come out of the photo. Careful! He has long sharp pointy beak! :)
Gerry - I didn't see him or the one "moose" word in your post as I had been admiring all of your flower and other photos. :)
Those are some GREAT photos, Gerry... I'm betting you're going to be hearing from me for permission to use some of them on the garden club website I maintain.
Marc,
I will admit that the moose took a backstage to the flowers and birds in this post. But, wait till you see the upcoming Moose Monday photo! :)
Margaret,
Thanks. I will be interested to check out the garden club website. Let me know which flower photos are good candidates for the garden club website.
Gerry, OMG once again your pictures just capture it all. I feel like I can reach out and touch those pictures. Thank you so much for sharing!! Hope all is good. ...geri
Geri,
You can touch the flowers but be careful about the birds and the coyote. They are wild animals! :)
I appreciate your visit and your words of encouragement.
Gerry, Those photos are beautiful, I know lupine but I didn't know they are the same as bluebonnets! I guess we learn something new every day:-) I'll bet you are enjoying being a volunteer there, it would be expecially nice with the animals AND the gorgeous flowers!
Mary,
Thank you for the positive feedback. We always learn something new every day. I enjoyed learning about all the animals at the Beartooth Nature Center and as a volunteer, I enjoy even more passing on the information and educating the visitors to the Center. I love the animals, the gorgeous flowers and working with visitors from different places and of all walks of life but I will admit I enjoy working with the kids (those with inquiring minds) visiting the Center the best!
Hello Gerry and I forgot to say your welcome and keep up the great work!
VB ;-)
Vegas Bob,
Your photos are always a joy to see along with your Happy and Out of this World stories. You keep up the great work as well! :)
The following is a photo of the colorful flowers taken in the summer of 2009. Red Lodge Mountain (a great ski resort during winter) can be seen in the background.
It makes for a beautiful postcard. Doesn't it? :)
