I love Jones Beach. I thought they did a great job with the boardwalk and all the amenities on it. Last time I was there, they were renovating the landmark "pencil". But the amphitheatre there is a great place for a concert, and the beach is as beautiful as they come.

Hi Wayne, I hope it helps as well and thank you!

Hi Craig, Well, you could move back but nooooooo, you'd rather stay down South where the weather is nice all year long, southern food, southern charm, low cost of living, ok, I see your point :) Ignore the woman behind the curtain :)

I would like to volunteer our services and present some ideas for raising funds and getting the Beach back to its orginal glory.  We produce a free concert 6 nights a week for 10 weeks at the Boardwalk bandshell and feel this is a great venue to help ourselves accomplish our goals

I would like information about the Jones Beach Rescue Volunteer Organization. Is there a web site, email address or phone number to get info and to make a donation. I love Jones Beach and want to help keep it a viable place.

Nice work Alexandra!

See Newsday Article http://www.newsday.com/long-island/nassau/jones-beach-nonprofit-plans-1st-fundraiser-1.3116944 . "The people in this article seem to be genuine. But they have to put up with former State Senator Craig Johnson who has teamed up with Trump to pretend to revitalize Jones Beach. Revitalize their pockets is more like it. On Wednesday, August 31 · 11:00am - 12:30pm at Jones Beach Field 4 - the Big Flag Pole On Boardwalk Trump is holding a phoney coalition rally to help fill his pockets. Show up and tell Trump to "STOP COMMERCIALIZING JONES BEACH". "
