My daughter and Home Staging partner, Allison Lordbock, is Miss Coon Rapids 2010 and the former 2005 Miss Brainerd Lakes. Along with that title comes the privilege of participating in the Miss Minnesota pageant. It is June 17-19, which will be here so
on. Most people are unaware of how hard these young women work on their platforms throughout the year. Allison is especially busy now making appearances, working in community events and preparing for the pageant with many opportunities to help lives change.
Her platform is entitled "Write Your Own Story - the future begins today". Instead of living a life of regrets and what if's - live out your life, one day at a time. If you fall down, get up. Encourage others, carry them when need be. Get your hands dirty, go for it.
It was just announced today that Allison is a semi-finalist for the Quality of Life Award at the Miss Minnesota pageant. We will be there and keep you posted as to the final outcome.
