Through the first five months of 2010 ther have been a total of 68 homes sold in Carl Junction. This is an increase of 60 homes sold during the same period of 2009 or an increase of 13.33%

The average sales price of homes that closed in the first 5 months of 2009 was $124,751. The average sales price of homes that closed in the first 5 months of 2010 was $142,847. This is an increase of 14.51% which mostly is the result, I believe of the uptick in activity in Briarbrook since the CID won approval of the City Council and has started its activities.

The average days on market for a home in Carl Junction for the first 5 months of 2009 was 111. The average days on market for a home in Carl Junction for he first 5 months of 2010 was 125. This is an increase in days on market of 12.61% This most likely is mostly representative again of Briarbrook properties finally moving again.

There are currently 109 homes for sale in Carl Junction. There have been 150 new listings since January 1st of t his year. There have been 51 homes withdrawn from the market, 35 homes whose listings have expired and 45 homes that are currently under contract.
