During the month of July there were 14 newly listed properties one of which was under Attorney Review at the time of this report. The average list price is $289,202.00. The lowest listed price home is a ranch style home on .145 acre with five rooms two bedrooms and one bath and is listed for $187,000.00. The highest priced home is on .31 acre of property and is a eight room colonial with three bedrooms and one and a half baths the asking price is $365,000.00.

Three properties show up as "UC" under contract with an average asking price of $246,266.00 and average days on market to contract is just 52 days!

Five properties show up as SOLD with an average asking price of $257,979.00 and an average SOLD price of $249,200.00 or 96.5% of asking price is gotten for accurately priced homes. The average days on market is 116.

Only one property showed up as withdrawn and was listed for $269,000.00 and was on the market for 58 days.

Only one property Expired from the market a Colonial style home built in 1996 and was listed for $529,900.00.

Newton is a beautiful area to live in, plenty of country and loads of shopping. It is also the County Seat for Sussex County.
